Testimonials

Your input is essential to helping us continuously improve our school and ensure that we are providing the best possible education for your children. Parent feedback plays a crucial role in shaping the quality of education a school provides. It offers a unique perspective on the student experience, highlighting areas of strength and identifying opportunities for improvement. Here are some key reasons why parent feedback is essential:

1. Improved Student Outcomes:

  • Tailored Education: By understanding parents' concerns and aspirations, schools can tailor their curriculum and teaching methods to better meet the needs of individual students.
  • Increased Engagement: When parents feel involved and informed, they are more likely to support their children's education, leading to increased student engagement and motivation.

2. Enhanced School Culture:

  • Stronger Partnerships: Open communication with parents fosters stronger partnerships between the school and community, creating a positive and supportive learning environment.
  • Increased Trust: Consistent engagement with parents builds trust and confidence in the school's leadership.

3. Informed Decision-Making:

  • Data-Driven Insights: Parent feedback provides valuable data that can inform school improvement plans and decision-making processes.
  • Prioritise Needs: By understanding the most pressing concerns of parents, schools can prioritise initiatives that will have the greatest impact on student success.

4. Increased Accountability:

  • Transparency: Regular feedback from parents can help ensure that schools are accountable for their performance and are making progress toward their goals.
  • Continuous Improvement: By actively seeking feedback, schools can identify areas for improvement and implement changes to enhance the quality of education.

Your feedback is an invaluable resource for us. By actively listening to  our parents' perspectives, we can create a more supportive and effective learning environment, improve student outcomes, and build stronger partnerships with the community.

Please see the suggestions, areas for improvements, positive comments and our responses.

Kindest Regards

Thank you so much for showing me your very lovely school. It feels a very special place where the children are really nurtured and cared about and for. You all clearly do an amazing job and hopefully feel very proud of what you have achieved.

Sami is the wonderful head of Limes Farm infant school in Epping Forest. Limes Farm has an alternative education room called The Rainbow room.

I am normally fairly reserved about this type of provision, but Sami and her team have created a completely inclusive room where pupils are still very much part of their home classes, and no one is in the Rainbow room full time.

I just wanted to say thank you for welcoming me into your lovely school this morning. It was a real pleasure to visit, and it’s clear that there is a strong, inclusive ethos and a genuinely positive attitude shared by staff across the school. It was really lovely to see.

Community Engagement Feedback – Limes Farm Infant School and Nursery
This statement provides feedback on the valuable contribution the Limes Farm Infant School and Nursery and its team have made to community engagement within the Limes Farm area.

The school has been a consistent and proactive partner in supporting community activity. Staff have actively helped promote local events and initiatives to families through school communication channels. This has significantly improved awareness of opportunities available to local families.
The school team has also attended community activities wherever possible, helping to strengthen relationships between residents, volunteers, and local services. Their presence at events encourages families to participate and helps build confidence among parents and carers who may not otherwise engage.
The school has worked collaboratively with the local volunteer-led Limes Farm Community Group, which we support closely, as well as with me in my role as Community Engagement Officer, to promote and support activities designed to improve wellbeing, reduce isolation, and create positive opportunities for families and children living in the area.

Examples of the school’s contribution include:

• Summer Family Fun Day and Playground Celebration – Wednesday 9th July 2025: The school played a pivotal role in the success of this event. They helped to promote the event and ensure funding criteria were met, particularly around supporting children eligible for free school meals. The school printed and distributed vouchers so families could access free hot food, and they also attended the event with a stall, engaging directly with families.
• Children’s Garden Project – July 2025: The school supported two sessions at the Chigwell Parish Community Hub, working closely with the Limes Farm Community Group who set up and funded the sessions. Children enjoyed an afternoon of gardening and planting and received certificates recognising their hard work. This project encouraged hands-on learning and community engagement for the children while fostering connections with local families.

The impact of this support has been meaningful. Increased awareness and participation in community activities helps families build stronger social connections, access support networks, and take part in positive experiences within their local neighbourhood. This contributes to improved wellbeing, confidence, and a stronger sense of belonging for both parents and children.

The school’s commitment to partnership working and community engagement demonstrates a genuine investment in the wider wellbeing of families beyond the school environment. Their willingness to collaborate and promote community opportunities has been extremely valuable in helping build stronger links between the school, residents, and local initiatives.

We greatly appreciate the continued support of the school leadership team and wider staff in helping strengthen community connections within the Limes Farm area.

SEND Evaluation 2021-2022

Thank you for the warm welcome you gave me when I met with you on Thursday 30  June, 2022. I thoroughly enjoyed my visit to your school, welcomed the honest dialogue and enjoyed learning about your school.

In summary, these are my reflections:

  • leaders have created a wonderfully warm and caring learning environment in which all children can achieve.
  • leaders think carefully about their provision, especially for those children with needs. Taking a holistic view of each child, support and interventions are reviewed regularly to ensure they are having impact.
  • children’s views reflect the school’s aims, talking enthusiastically about their teachers, their learning and the other opportunities made available to them;
  • it is great to see those children with identified needs achieve well and are an integral part of the school community.
  • attendance, albeit below pre-pandemic levels, is better than much of the rest of country, and the disparity between SEND and non-SEND is not significant. PA is also at an acceptable level.
  • the school rightly prides itself on its inclusive culture and ethos. The use of trauma perceived practice is integral to this and is well embedded.

‘I have nothing but positive things to share about my experience working with Limes Farm School, this includes both the infant and junior school. Limes Farm excel in their commitment to working alongside Social Care ensuring that the communication with professionals and families is always clear and effective. Their dedication to keeping everyone informed fosters a sense of trust and collaboration which is essential when considering Child Protection. The schools’ proactive approach to building relationships with their children and families, as well as the professional network highlights their understanding of the importance of a united support system. The relationships they build with families are strong and they truly care about the wellbeing of each child. It is clear when speaking with the children I have worked with that attend the school that they feel able to talk to the staff about anything that is going on for them and that it will be listened to and acted upon appropriately. The support provided to families by Limes Farm is exceptional, going above and beyond that of any other school I have worked alongside. They offer a wide range of services that address the unique needs of each family ensuring that everyone feels supported and valued. This holistic approach not only meets immediate needs but also promotes long-term well-being and resilience. I know I can always rely upon Limes Farm to attend each meeting with up to date information that is shared sensitively and appropriately with families.’

My daughter attends to your nursery. This email is just to say how happy I am with how much her needs are being met by Mrs Williamson. She struggles quiet a bit with anxiety and Mrs Williamson has honestly been my biggest support throughout it. She has given me loads of advice and has even made a now and next for at home to help with this. I can not explain how happy I am with in such short time the school has helped my daughter and me. I just wanted the nursery to get the recognition they deserve with how much they have done.

Thank you so much.
