We spoke about being thankful and how different coloured poppies represent different people and even animals during the war.We watched a short clip of the poppies growing on Flanders field as a sign of hope, we observed a minutes silence as well as listened to some of our year two pupils who recited some fantastic poems. Every single one of them played with such determination, enthusiasm, and always with a smile on their face. Their sportsmanship was outstanding, and even when results didn't go their way, they never let it dampen their spirits.
